I'm learning to drive and my Dad doesn't let me go above 65 mph on the freeway and everyone speeds around me...i hate it cus i want to go fast! They probably think i'm some weird girl.

I don't mind because I'd rather have those people in front of me where I can keep a better eye on them, then behind.

Just stay to the right.
There are times when I'm tired on my way home from work (after maybe a 12-14 hour day) and I can't safely go fast. I just stick in the right-hand lane & let everything else go by me as I slowly roll down the freeway.

No I don't hate it when people speed around me, because I'm always the one speeding, and if they want to go faster than me, that's just dangerous. If I am going too slow in the fast lane, i SHOULD get passed. People that go slow in the fast lane piss me off sooooo bad. Like, they think they are their own police task force. I understand about your dad not wanting you to go faster, my parents were the same way, they still are and I've been driving nine years :) Speeding is dangerous anyway though... and no offense, but young drivers and old drivers have the worst traffic offenses/crashes/deaths. Just be careful until you are a good driver

i know exactly how you feel. around town my my mom does not want me to go above 35 mph, and then when i ask to go 40 mph she wants to get mad and throw a little fit.

yea u best get ur foot up to 70mph or 80mph
noooo ur deffenly not weird my mom only goes 60 mph so u save gas n u save the car while ur at it

i only hate it when they speed around me then they slow down all them drivers should be kicked off the road
