Can I hear some opinons on how I should dress for 80's day tomorrow. I thought about being Axl Rose or even a Guns N Roses and Motley Crue, groupie, but I'm not sure. Can you guys give me some ideas?

for my 80s day i wore a denim skirt with leggings, converse, a cut sweatshirt that hung off my shoulders, pearls, and big headbands.....it was totally 80s but still super cute!!!!

Madonna's conical bra did not appear until the early 1990s so that would not help you. You can come up with an '80s look cheaply and easily. Try to find quit a big, baggy sweater and wear it over tight leggings, with a belt over the sweater. Wear lots of bracelets. Use a lot of hairspray to make to make the front of your hair stand up. Look for bright colours - yellow, pink, etc. Maybe you could find a pair of ankle boots, or put beads on your shoelaces if you don't have boots?

Remember to make your hair (especially the front and bangs) really puffy by teasing and tight roll your jeans. Wear the most skinny leg pants you have because there was no such thing as flares or bell bottom pants in the 80's. They were a 70's thing and we dared not wear them. The good thing is all the retro T-shirts now ...we wore those in the 80's.

You could do a dressed down version of Madonna *jelly bracelets, lace gloves, big earrings, neon colors. Bonus if you can find a Frankie Say Relax! or Choose Life T-shirt. Parachute pants and leather clip on ties were also part of the fashion. Good luck!

When I think of an 80's girl I think of the Madonna thing with a thousand rubber bracelets and crucifixes and lace underwear.
