You'd have to divide this by maneaters and then mankillers -
Animals that kill humans unintentionally or due to non-predatory reasons like territoriality and defense would include (not necessarily in the order of # of people killed):
Venomous snakes - they kill thousands of people every year, mostly in third world countries.
Bears - most attacks are due to territory/defense.
Cape buffalo - same reason.
Hippos - same reason.
Elephants - same reason.
Domestic dogs - same reason.
Farm animals - same reason. (pigs have also been known to eat human remains)
Then there are incidental killers - animals that can cause death as an uninteded consequence of their being infected by disease.
Rats - great spreaders of deadly diseases.
Mosquitos - same reason.
Raccoons, foxes, dogs - rabies.
Then there are the intententional man-eaters -
Crocodiles
Alligators
Big cats (lion, tiger, leopard, puma)
Bears (polar and black bears are more likely than brown bears to actually consume their victims)
Sharks (though some attacks should be grouped under territoriality/defense)
Snakes (anaconda and pythons have been know to kill and eat humans)
Wolves (man-eating is known only in Old World populations - Europe, Asia)

Top killers are mosquitoes and other disease-causing animals that are generally parasitic like ticks and fleas and so forth. Also some forms of worms kill many people in Africa in their drinking water. Venomous snakes kill 60,000 people a year, most of these deaths are from the Asian cobra, Russell's viper, and the Saw-scaled viper which by itself kills 20,000 people a year, more than any other animal that does not kill through infection or disease. Most snake bite deaths occur in Sri Lanka.
Top man-eaters in history are the Tsavo lions of 1898 when men were working on a railroad over there that killed and ate over 100 men. Also the tigers of the Sundurbans, if I'm spelling it correctly, have killed in the past 200 years and estimated 200,000 people and eaten them.

Really? Mosquitos kill more people than all the animals in the world put together. But if your talking about mammals (and not disease), then surprisingly dogs win in the civilized world. Conventionally, the answer to your question is hippos. They kill many more persons than lion, tigers, and bears. Oh my.

Discounting disease-causing microorganisms and their vectors, crocodiles kill more humans every year than any other animal.
