I turned my back for just a few minutes, and now my new pet octopus has climbed out of his tank and is stuck to the ceiling. How am I going to get him down?

Tell him to get down, or you will take him to the Japanese restaurant, no offense, but alot serve Octopus and if he knows like I know he will listen and get down. By the way, I love Octopus. Mmmm.

Just wait a few minutes...the suckers on his tentacles will dry out and he will fall down. Then put him back in the tank and get a lock for the lid.

Okay. . . that's a little weird. You could try vaseline or KY or something to keep it from being sticky. I'm guessing it won't be there long since it needs water to live and everything.

Leave him there. He will come down on his own. However, if you are getting anxious, you could always spray him with a hose
