There are several female presidents already. There was one in the Philipines, now there is on in Chile and I think even the United Kingdom had a female prime minister once (Margaret Tacher, I think)

most definately not. If 2 women ran on both parties. The independant candidate would win. I would never vote for a woman for that high of a position.

I don't understand... If England, Canada, India and Pakistan are able to accept a female leader, why can't Americans? I thought everyone was supposed to be equal there.

yeah, because we've already had 43 inlcuding bush, Oprah Winfrey was about to register, but she backed out because she didn't think that she could win. I think that if she would of styed with it, then she probably would of won. :)
