Check the chain; if one of the links is bent it could be jamming the mechanism of the clock.

Check and make sure the clock is hanging level. Sometimes hanging crooked can cause them to stop.

It may need a good cleaning. If it's worth it to you, take it to a clock specialist and have it cleaned.
