Not sure what state your in, but in mine, if you file for divorce and can't find the missing spouse, you can leagally get the divorce by placeing an ad in the paper for like 30 to 60 days saying you won't be responsible for their debt at a set date.
Go ask you local court house. They will help.

hire a lawyer he can draw up the paper work and get it filed then you can post notice in the local papers and if she or he doesnt respond or dispute after 15 days the judge will grant the divorce without her signature. only problem with this is that if you where the one that moved out of the state you 2 where married in you have to go back

Go get a lawyer and he will file the paper's and mail to last known address and after a notice is run in the new's paper for a certain length of time what ever your state requries then you can get your divorce.

LOL.....someone posts something about child support......Did he even say he had a child???? Another thing, there is NO tax burden on you if he doesn't pay his child support!!! He goes to jail, simple as that.
The best thing for you to do is to go to a lawyer. FYI, you would NEVER have to travel to another state. They would allow you to be part of the proceedings via phone. Additionally, if you file in you state/county, the proceedings will happen at your location, not hers.

Did she leave you? You should be able to get a divorce on the grounds of desertion. But under these circumtances, you will need an attorney.

Get out the yellow pages and go to a document service. They will help you and its cheaper than a lawyer. If she does not respond then it will be granted.
