I'm doing a project. I created a problem out of my curiosity and a basic summary of the problem is basically: "Does a plant grow faster or better with warm water or cool water?"

Warm water would stimulate the roots but if it's too warm, it could kill the plant. If the plant is outside and it's cold, then cool water would be best.

If you're preserving a flower that has already been harvested, then cool water would also be best to preserve it.
