My favourite place in the world is under the sea (scuba diving not dead). It is so peaceful and relaxing, it is like you are in other world, where there isn't trouble, unless a shark or somet happens to pass by, and attack you. But I really love it down there.

Boulder Creek, California, in the Santa Cruz Mountains on the coast above Monterey Bay. In fact, the entire central California coast is pretty wonderful. But I live in Boulder Creek, and I consider it just a little bit short of heaven. We have big old redwood trees for neighbors, and lots of aging hippies and bikers and artists and musicians. There are tourists in the summer, but never enough to be a nuisance; just an economic resource. Big Trees Railroad runs from Roaring Camp in Felton, just down the hill a piece, to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Big Basin State Park, Henry Cowell State Park and Highlands County Park are all fine places to go.

And soon, if all goes well, there will be a funky little bookstore where you can get coffee or tea and hang out for awhile with your faithful auntb93!

Sitting on Douglas beach on the Isle of Man just before dawn as the first rays reflect off the wispy clouds on the horizon onto the sea whilst the rest of the town behind me sleeps in pitch black. When I look to my right or left I can see the twilight it's neither night nor day, it's just a eerie, magical place.

Prague at the moment - I have been there twice and one day I hope to loive there. The city is so wonderful and the people there are very kind. I also like Czech music and their attitudes to many aspects of life. I might get bored and homesick after a few years there but at the moment that is where I would like to live.

Where-ever I lay my hat...
Right now my home is North Cyprus. I have visited a number of countries - France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, USA (saw a lot of that), Holland, Denmark, Germany... I have a soft spot for Denmark (great people), but my final choice was to live here in Turkish Cyprus.
PS I am English.

I cant answer this because truthfully I have not done the world so I do not have a favourite place per se.

My one to date based on where I have been would be Isle of Man.

London

Simply for its personality and the fact that it is bursting with people from all over and you are bound to find someone with the same interests as you [no matter how obscure]

And despite hat people say there is a strong sense of community and mutual respect:
