I am currently un-employed and I was going to job-search with a friend and was just told that that's not a good idea and i thought it was a statement that haters make, besides me and my friend have diffn't skills and won't be applying for the same job anyways. what do u think?

as a employer that hires people, i say that it is not the best thing. it is ok if someone comes to support you, they should wait outside or in lobby, unseen and not heard from.....sorry it is true

If you are going with a friend to pick up an application then that is fine. However just remember that they may get hired and you may not.
NEVER take a friend or anyone with you to an interview!!!!

If they are your ride or just want to be your support then why not? Just as long as you go in by yourself for the interview or up to the person for the application then it shouldn't be a problem.

Because you aren't going to have the friend at work with you. The company is hiring you not the friend.

It just makes you appear like you're either too stupid to get a job without help and coaching or completely insecure. GO BY YOURSELF!

bringing someone else makes you look like a moron. not using spell check or actual words in your question makes you look stupid. either improve your communication or brace yourself for slinging burgers for the rest of your life.
