All depends on what you are having done at the dentist! LOL! You can't compare any type of other pain to that of a tattoo- everyone is different. Although a tat on the bicep is not the greatest feeling in the world and the closer to the arm pit it is the more sensitive it will be! Remember the more outline it has (black ink) the more painful it can be- also depends on how detailed is, how many needles are being used and what the machine is set at- the lower the level and less amount of needles the more painful!

Depends on what happens at the dentist, haha.. Um but actually I just had dry socket from a pulled tooth.. And that was worse than having my gallbladder removed, and both of those made my tattoo feel like a day at the park. So I'd say going to the dentist is worse. :)

Well it depends on what you would have to do at the dentist. personally I prefer a tattoo, just because I have had 2 horrible experiences in the dentist's chair before.

I would have to say the dentist, I have quite a few tattoos!! I would imagine most people would answer this way...only because when you get a tattoo it's because you want to, most people don't WANT to go to the dentist. Tattoos don't hurt, as long as the artist knows what they are doing, just remember to breathe and you'll be fine!!! Good luck!!

The dentist is worse,theyre in your mouth! Getting a tattoo may be more painful but at least your mouth is available to scream,make wierd painful faces and you can swallow.

I would say getting caught at the movies with your dik in hand....worse than dentist or tattoo

the dentist is worse.
they mess your mouth up the insurance company goes 'i ain't going to pay for that' (even though you've been good on your end of the deal) and your mouth still hurts and you still have to take care of your teeth and you don't get fangs!
jerks.
oh and you got to come back for another appointment next week because your eyeball is stuck somewhere in your nasal cavity..
