why is it so difficult to bring up attachments?

I have to down load attachments to see them and sometimes cannot get them at all.. Is this normal? using msn all I had to do was click on the word attchment and it came right up why is yahoo so complicated?

Go into options and then general preferences in yahoo mail. Under the messages category, make sure the box next to "block html graphics in email messages from being downloaded" is NOT CHECKED. Here is more information about viewing attachments:
