I Lifeguard and give swim lessons while I attend college, I wear a speedo brief while on duty my gf gets jealous because girls just like lifeguards, (I guess) I do not want to wear baggies because I cannot move fast enough. Girls, what should I do? HELP!

Any time we've gone to the beach, lifeguards have a uniform of speedos, not baggies,lol, so do you really have a choice anyways? I would say that your g/f needs to feel confident in herself and in your relationship so that she doesn't worry needlessly about stuff like this. Unless of course, there are things that were said or done in the past that make her have this kind of a reaction? That is really her issue to work out though! So for you, do you what you have to do in your job and the fact that you are also going to college too? Says a lot about you, you sound like a good person to me and I am sure she is, so just tell her to look past that stuff, and be confident in who she is, what you guys have, together. Good luck!

Oh please! No offense, but like that other dude said up there, shorts shouldn't inhibit your ability to get to someone. If they do, then you're not fit to be a lifeguard, or you need to get back into the lap swim. Besides - you're in a pool. What's the farthest you're going to have to swim? 50 meters? And how many rescues do you average anyway?
As far as your gf, she has security problems, and you need to learn to be a little more sensitive. As a female who's been around speedos her entire life, it looks like a guy's trying to show off or he's from France. As another lifeguard, it looks unprofessional.
At least put some trunks on, and if you have to go in, then drop 'em as you go...

Your girlfriend needs to get over her insecurity. Keep wearing your speedo. It sounds like the problem is hers.
I just read some of your other questions and am somewhat perplexed. In other questions you say your girlfriend really likes it when you dress that way; you also discuss being nude in public with your wife. Hmmmm....

Oh, please. Regular swim trunks do not slow movement down one bit. You just like the attention that speedos bring.
Wear the trunks, and get over yourself.
