I am a huge fan of this comic strip! Tell me what your favorite story line is/has been? I am enjoying watching Liz mature into an adult and an excited about her relationship with Paul. Poor April, though. She is almost like an only child. I still miss Farley and I hope Grandpa Jim pulls through!!!

I feel bad for Liz, in that she has gone through some poor relationships. I can't recall his name, but there was the guy she met at college who said, "How shall we end this evening?" that she broke up with a short time later-- I think she slept with him and regretted it.

And I think she should have married her first boyfriend, the one who later married Terese (who left him though they had a kid) and he rescued Liz at work when that guy was assaulting her. (I can never remember his name.) Anthony? Was that him?

She has options, between the pilot and the Mountie, but if she had married Anthony when she was a couple years younger, they would have been very happy together-- provided that she could keep herself from wondering if she would have been happier if she had looked further first.

It's all about choices and sticking with them and making the best of what you've chosen for yourself in life. I think that April has an excellent chance of being very happy later on, with that boy from her band. She will have seen what indecision ends up with.

I have been reading that strip since I was a kid myself, and I am amazed by how they have aged the characters so convincingly. The storylines are very touching and realistic. I have enjoyed watching Mike & Deanna's experiences as young parents starting out. Have you looked around the web site? They have archives of old strips, games, daily current strips, bios on all the characters, etc. They even have some strips in Spanish!

Oh, I just love that comic strip. I remember when the boys were paying attention to Liz and April wanted the boys attention too so she ran and got her bike. It was so cute. I can't stand that singer friend of hers. I think that girl is really going to mess up her life.

I loved the strip when Liz (and/or April?) was reminiscing about Farley beside his tree, and Farley's spirit was bounding about. She said (paraphrased), "It's like he's still here."
A very poignant one.
