Nietzsche was a pretty crazy guy but the interesting thing about him was the fact he questioned everything: morals, ethics, religious dogma, etc. Some of his writings can be somewhat unreadable at times but its some pretty interesting stuff that can really get you thinking. One of his ideas that I always found particularly interesting was the theory of eternal recurrence. It was his idea that because there are a finite amount of particles in the universe, there can only be so many ways in which they can be arranged and that eventually they will resume their original conformation, and history will repeat itself. This idea is scientifically false, however the philosophical idea at the heart of it was that one should live their life in such a way that if they had to repeat it over and over for all eternity, they would not change anything about it. This is one of the ideas at the heart of existentialism - coming to terms with the idea that life has no set meaning and that one must create their own. Anyway, this is getting rather long winded but its some interesting stuff. I recommend it.

Nietzsche will explain why God is dead. On the other hand, God will explain why Nietzsche is dead.

I think this is in the wrong section - he should be under philosophy. Because he was an amazing philosopher with ideas that could drive your thinking and find answers for your life - whether you agree with them or disagree.
