It is possible. Remember "The Weakest Link?" There, the audience WAS told to wear black, grey or dark brown *they preferred the dark colors to go with the harshness of the host. Also, dark colors don't appear too bright on camera

People wear black and other neutral colors for a reason. If you are being filmed, you are not aloud to wear any bright colors or anything with a logo (it messes with the cameras, don't ask me why)

I never heard of the audience having to wear that specific color, but for the models on the other hand probabaly do have to.

probably...the show is probably some sort of secret conspiracy to mess with our mind.
