It really depends on your major. If you want to be a teacher, or if you are going into music, University of Northern Colorado is the best. It is hard to beat Colorado School of Mines for anything related to chemistry, minerals, or agricultural. Then there is the Airforce Acadamy, one of the best military schools you will find anywhere in the world. Denver University has an excelent visual art school, and an excellent business school. Of course, both CU and CSU are good, well rounded state schools.
