Unfortunately, there is little or nothing to be done. I do think that sensationalizing the situations brings out the crazies. While it is important to put the news out, perhaps fewer details and less gore would not put unstable characters in mind to follow suit.

You know there is not a "rash" of school shootings. These are very rare occurences. If you want them to stop, then teach your children about the true violence of using a gun. When I was young I was taken to the gun range and my father let me learn how to fire a weapon. Everyone in my family has been taught the same way. THE PROBLEM IS NOT GUN CONTROL IT IS GUN EDUCATION!! When my 10 year old son turns 14 he will be taught the same lessons I was about guns and what power they have.
People today think children are so innocent and niave. When I was a kid we were treated just like little adults, if we messed up, we were punished and not just by going to our rooms, which by the way, is now a virtual playground for most kids (where is the punishment in that), we were made to wait for our father and got swats for doing wrong and no one in my age group shot up schools.
Read your bible's people it is okay to punish your kids just not to excess. Sometimes they need a good slap on the butt. WAKE UP PEOPLE.

I definitely do blame vidoe video games for those issues! maximum people who're doing those shootings at present become youthful youngsters, and from what? game which includes Grand Theif vehicle. If I had a baby, i would not enable him to play video games like that until hes around the age of 13 on the least. Even then that could desire to be too youthful. such numerous of my buddies have brothers on the age of 9 or under play those video games! God help us all if this keeps....

Nothing....too many talkers.
School's talk about Zero tolerance, but can not and will not stop bullying.
Some schools try to keep weapons off campus, by searching students as they come in, some tried security guards, but some parents and students object.....freedom this and that.
How's about Safety this and that because there are too many crazies.

Arm the teachers or put security guards at schools. Taking guns away won't solve the issue. Switzerland has more guns per capita than the US and they don't have anywhere near the crime rate and murder rate of the US. We should also provide care for the mentally ill, instead of letting them wander the streets and live under bridges.

Simple. Limit the distribution of firearms. If guns were not so readily available, there wouldn't be so many of these tragedies.
