Religion...it corrupts everyone to some degree. I think more people have died for religious causes than they have for money.

Religion because to belong to an organized religion you must give up your rational faculty and follow what someone else tells you is true. Sure enough if you decide to question an idea of the group you belong to you will be criticized at the least and kicked out or killed in the worst case scenario. Cristianity has somewhat clamed down because most of its "followers" have decided that they can do whatever the hell they feel like doing. This fits in with the sense of laissez-faireof the last 20-30 yrs. Islam is centuries behind Cristianity and well.......I'm sure you can all draw your own conclusions based on recent events

The root of all evil is people who can't see the world for what it is.
People who try to force reality to fit their own view of what things should be are usually responsible for 'evil' in the world, wether they intend it or not. Most evil is perpetuated by people who are stupid.

Money because the bible says so first of all and secondly because the greed and need and speed for money is the major contributor to crime, drug abuse and power. It fills mans head with greed and ideas to where he will sell all he owns to get more, spend more or make more. All consuming money..the root of all evil..The word of the LORD!

The love of money is well-known for being the root of all evil. It is also symbolic of man's love for earthly things, amassing treasures on earth, at the expense of the salvation of his soul.
