Hi there, The best way with eye make up is to put your eye shadow on first then your mascara. Mainly because some of your shadow will drop onto your lashes when your applying it making them lighter. When you apply mascara its best to apply a coat to the top of the lashes first then layer it from underneath, apply more mascara to the back of the lashes to give the illusion of longer lashes. Hope this helps!

The eye shadow goes on first. It's easier to fix mistakes, and if you were to put on the mascara first, the dust from the shadow will settle and stick to the lashes. So you would end up with dull lashes instead of radiant ones.

Put the shadow on first otherwise the shadow will coat your mascara. Put your mascara on after everything else.

apply your eye shadow first, using the lightest color to sweep the entire lid up to the brow area, highlight a middle color in the center on the bone and take the darkest color and line your eyes for a more eye popping effect. If you are using eyeliner this should be applied after the shadow, then mascara should be applied last, If you sweep your lashes first you will get rid of that clumpy look.

Eyeshadow. If you notice when you put your mascara on first and then the shadow you can get the color on your lashes from your eye shadow- then you must reapply your mascara.

Mascara is the last thing - don't want to smudge.
BTW - if you end up with flecks of shadow under your eyes or on your cheeks - put some loose powder there and that'll catch it and you can flick it away with a brush.

It's best to do your eyeshadow first, then apply mascara.
you should also make sure you apply the mascara to the bottom lashes first, then do the top. this will help prevent 'ditto lines/marks' under your eyes while you apply to the top lashes.
Also, if you use loose powder, having a little bit of powder particles on your lashes can be good because it will make your eyelashes look thicker when you apply mascara.

Put on your shadow and then your mascara. If you put on the mascara first, your shadow is likely to fall onto your lashes and it will make your lashes look (a) lighter or (b) cakey and lumpy!!
