any side affects that you know of?

Well of course any type of birth control pill has side effects like spotting, blood clots, dizziness, blurred vision, weight gain, etc. But Yasmin does have a different side effect than other pills. It can increase potassium levels (I believe) in some women. I have been on Yasmin for three years and I have no problems. Make sure to consult your doctor about any side effects. Good luck.

i took yasmin for three yrs. i had no side effects, but when i stopped it i didnt have a period for 4 months. i had to go back on birth control to have one. i dont know if it was because of the brand or the pill in general. im on nuvaring now and i really like it.

Yasmin--no side effects that i know of.....but i would just go with the regular pills i think the effect is better--try Ortho-Tri Cyclen--I loved those pills....
fyi---all pills have effects read the label--but nothing major

all horomone based birth control have side effects. Read the packaging and/or talk it over with your doc when he prescribes it to you.
