I disconnected from talk talk broadband in April/May this year. I eventually got a mac code from them and transferred to Pipex but every month since then they have sent me an accumulating bill for broadband. Every month I spend a hour on the phone with them and they always tell me the situation is resolved but I keep getting the bills. Can anyone recommend what I need to do to stop his harassment ?

Try Ofcom. Or just threaten with it (i.e. "This matter has been resolved, if you don't stop sending me bills for a service I am not using I will report you to Ofcom!") which is usually enough. You do realise that there call centres are in South Africa don't you? I think it takes them forever to do anything.

Also, are you calling a pay-for number for these long calls, if you are try calling 0800 049 1010 (select option 1 for TalkTalk services) or write a letter, either threaten Ofcom or legal action. A threat really should be all it takes.

As above try ofcom. Start a diary, log all calls and if you can get a name GET IT. Quote this name on all subsequent calls. Start writing letters and Bill them an admin fee. They can do it so can you.... :-)

Get a copy of your phone bill, highlight the times you where on the phone to them, and bill them, they wont bother you any more if they think its going to cost them
