I got a tattoo when i was 14 in a basement shop, but it was by a guy off duty that was my moms friend, a few shops will take minors with proof of their age and indentification, and parents with them.

Check out Misery Ink in West Mifflin alot of my friends got tattoos there but i'm not sure about their policies on age but the last time i checked they didnt follow alot of rules and i refuse to get work done there, but you can check it out yourself.

I don't live in that area, but I do know that even though tattoos can be pretty or funny, they can be quite a pain when you get older. They do have those laser tattoo removers, but that will cost at least 10 times more than the tattoo cost in the first place. I am not going to tell you not to get the tattoo. I am just going to say that all actions can have cosequences. This is a very big decision to make. Don't make the wrong choice!

Good for all the shops you have visited. It's nice to know that even a tattoo shop has standards. As for you, just wait. As for your parents, it sounds to me like they need a lesson in parenting 101.

Because most tattooed people (artists included) believe that you should wait until you are 18 until you get it done. Even with consent you have to be 16....

Rethink the whole tattoo idea. You might think it looks good now, but you are really branding yourself for the future. Do you really want to be the 65 yr old grandmother with a tattoo for the grandkids to see? It will note you as white trash.
