No. You don't have to prove anything to anybody.
If you want to accomplish something then go ahead and do it for yourself.

The best revenge that you can have for people that tell you that you can't do something, is to prove the worng by doing it. You can accomplish anything in life that you want. Most of the time, when people tell you that you can't do something it is because they see the potential in you and they don't want you to be better than them. I say just do it and prove them wrong. GO FOR IT!!!!

If we all listened to the nay-sayers there would be no progress. We would still living in the stone ages, before the wheel was, what, INVENTED? Never give up based on what others think. Use your creativity to accomplish your dreams and ideas.

Go do it and quit worrying about the opinions expressed by small minds. Most people won't stick their neck out to accomplish anything and they are going to tell you all kinds of crap to keep you down at their level.

you should absolutely prove them wrong! when i'm told that i "can't" do whatever i know i can, i take it as motivation - a challenge - to get it done and to do it even better than even i thought i could! it's great for your ego and makes you a stronger person to come through adversity as a shining star!

Plant your feet solidly on the ground and throw back your head while laughing maniacally. Then look your detractor square in the eye and tell him/her how wrong they are, that you will achieve, and grandly at that!

It depends, sometimes you get told that as a dare.
To thine own self be true. If you want to do it, go ahead - otherwise walk away with a knowing look on your face!

You should not worry about what others think, worry about yourself and if it is something you want to do then do it. You can accoplish anything when you put your mind to it but do not look for others to understand or help you must be able to do it on your own.
