I am only 17 and I have never been pregnant before. My question is when a woman has a miscarriage, what happens to the baby's body? Does it even come out?

It depends on how far along you are. An early miscarriage feels like a bad period with tissue discharge. A later pregnancy is more like a difficult partial birth.

See a doctor if you have bleeding, cramping or pain. You can get a terrible infection if you aren't properly treated.

depending upon when the miscarriage takes place there won't be much of a body. Your body should expel everything on its own. Most doctors will want to examine a woman after a miscarriage to be sure there isn't anything left in her uterus.

When a woman has a miscarriage, the baby is expelled through blood, somewhat like a menstrual cycle. The baby is so small that you won't be able to see it.

My mom had one and you will be able to tell when it does happen. You will be on the potty and it will come out and it will be so tiny you can barley tell there was a baby there. It is a terrible thing.
