No its not, if anything it is the first film of its kind which whihc involves live acting with cartoon interaction, and won a few awards for doing so! Hope that helps

No a musical is nearly all songs even telling the story, Roger Rabbit is a action movie with a few musical numbers

Not really. There are a couple of musical numbers in it, but it's really a combination live-action/animation movie along the lines of "Mary Poppins," but MUCH more technologically advanced. They really did a good job making you believe that the cartoon characters and the live actors were interacting...
