The Bush Administration, and I never thought I could say that about our government and I know a lot of people will call me a trader or what ever the right wing talking heads are telling them to do now in days, but the truth is I am a former Marine and I have earned the right just as any citizen of this country to speak free and stand up for what I believe in, and I believe that our Administration has made us more unsafe in the pass 6 years then ever before. I don't agree with people saying well we have not been hit since 9/11. That is a B.S. argument. If the people of America felt so strong about fighting terror we would not have Military recruitment issues right now. Americans will stand up and fight if the war is truly justified and history can back that up.

I would say the greatest threat is people believing terrorism is our greatest threat. Statistically, terrorism is not really a threat at all. There are many things that kill a lot more people. There are plenty of things we need to fix right here at home before terrorism is our biggest threat. Now just so no one misunderstands me, I'm not saying we should stop fighting terrorism, but at least have it in perspective.

You had to ask...
The greatest threat to America today is the enemy in the camp.
We have every kind of sub-culture here and without getting my answer yanked...
America needs a good douche.

I'm going to have to agree with Aviator........of course the Bush administration is at the base of the "rule by fear" policies. It's gone well beyond Dems & Repubs in my mind. The problems we face as a nation today are a direct result of Bush's War in Iraq and the lack of backbone by our politicians to stand up for what is right. And I'm including both Democrats & Republicans. How's that for partisanship???

Radical fundamentalist conservative Christian terrorists.

Their goal is the overthrow of the US government. There is no question of our Founding Fathers intentions when they excluded any mention – not one – of God, Christianity, or Jesus anywhere in the US Constitution.

Then there is always this statement passed unanimously by the 1797 Congress and signed into law as part of a treaty:

“As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion”

Conservatives and the religious right want to destroy the real America and replace it with a Theocratic government based on the evil morality of their rape-torture-kill God.

The First Amendment does not say that stupid white-trash Christians get to make the rules and run the country.

[A study funded by the US government has concluded that conservatism can be explained psychologically as a set of neuroses rooted in "fear and aggression, dogmatism and the intolerance of ambiguity". ]

The continued and unchecked growth of the Federal government. It has wildly exceeded all of its Constitutional limits and each branch has failed to adequately check the abuses of the other branches.

There is no way to reconcile the intrusive socialist behemoth we have today with the government as provided by the Constitution and described in the Federalist Papers.

Terrorists can only kill me. Unchecked government can rob me of my birthright of freedom and liberty - that would be a deeper wound.

hmmm. tough question i suppose. i would have to say the NWO. New World Order. the very wealthy control a lot of our lives. They control media, money, jobs, politics, ect. they run our lives from behind the scences. their goal is corporate domination of the world. i mean the federal reserve bank created our money. the dollar system. they loan out money that they created then charge interest on it? does this make sense? stop the spread of capitalism.
