If you are on birth control pills, bleeding between periods is usually a sign that the dosage isn't high enough for you, and you should go back to your doctor to get a different prescription. I went through about 5 different ones until I found one that didn't give me breakthrough bleeding after 6 months of taking it.

it's probably stress, or you could be on some kind of birth control that causes bleeding between periods. if not, see a physician
