i have spyware on my computer or something i have used xsoftspy or whatever its called and it keeps coming back what do i do

Download a copy of AdAware, and one of Spybot.. Search for them with your browser. Both are free downloads that will identify and remove spy ware. Be sure to get the definition updates before you run either one.

Go to AVG website, download AVG antivirus (Its free). On the site you can also download a free anti-Spyware. Its called Ewido. Works real well if you keep it up to date

Go to start, run, type in msconfig...click on the tab that says "start up"...go down the list and you should see it there...uncheck it--because its running in the background...
Once you do that, Click apply, ok, and you will be prompted to restart...
Once you restart, go into your control panel, click on add/remove programs, and uninstall it...
After thats complete, try running the spyware program that is on the yahoo toolbar...Its free and it works just as good as other programs that I've bought and paid for! Good luck!

using nod32 for antivirus and adware se haven't had any problems since. told spybot is now not so safe. anyway hope that helps. also changed from internet explorer to firefox
