Our drama class (all boys school) is doing a Harry Potter based play this year. Because I am a bit shorter than most of the class, I got picked out to play Hermione. My mom has asked me what my costume (or even costumes) will probably look like, as she is probably going to need to buy some extra things that the school can't provide and she thought it might be a good idea to do this for Halloween just to see how it all looks anyway.

What is a list of items I'd need to have a good Hermione costume? I've already got a cloak and wand on order.

Thanks for the help so far. I wasn't sure, because the answers here are different too. Does Hermione wear trousers or a skirt? My mom thinks it should be a skirt because she is a girl, but I'd prefer trousers LOL.

For her uniform, she's in a skirt. For her casual clothing, she usually wears jeans.

In addition to the cloak and wand, get a gold and maroon tie and/or scarf, the brown frizzy wig, and if you can, find a orange tabby cat stuffed animal. If you wanted, you could even get the hat, but they don't wear it much in the movie.

A blonde wig, trousers, turtle-neck (black for both trousers and turtle-neck), and a gold and red striped scarf...if you have Wal-Mart in your area, they used to sell these things...but I don't know now that Harry Potter isn't so "new" if these things are readily available now or not.

Just watch the movie! If you're playing Hermione from the first book, she was kind of "frumpy" (messed-up hair, unstylish clothes), but as time goes by, she gets a little more stylish-shorter skirts, tights, cool, clunky shoes...still, she's always a bit odd-looking...none of the "hooker-style" you see in today's American girls (Ugh!).

It extremely does come right down to determining the unit fee of each cake, and then figuring out how a lot income you'll sense free with. you want to start up by skill of pricing up all of your substances in accordance to cake, so in case you take advantage of 100g of butter to make a cake and butter expenses you £a million in accordance to 500g block then the butter you take advantage of in each and each cake expenses you 20p. then you definitely repeat that for an additional component. do not ignore any consumables you take advantage of which contain cake cases, piping baggage, etc, and do not ignore to characteristic some thing on your electrical energy / gas used in cooking, a at the same time as spent, etc. you ought to also pay a visit to them or to different similar shops regionally and be conscious what different similar tarts are on sale for, because it truly is how a lot they are going to be promoting yours for; you do not opt for to pare your own salary to the bone to later stumble on they are making a fortune out of your tarts!
