personally I have no opposition for death row, and I think that the people that are there, are wasting our tax money... the leading cause of death on death row in California is from natural causes...there are approx 600 inmates in California that are waiting for their execution, most of which have been there for over 15 years...don’t you think that it is time to get it over with?? Enough of feeding them, having them sit in "luxury" personal cells, using electricity, having medical costs...all of which are at the cost of what? Our tax money!!! I think that if someone is sentenced to death then they should die, not just sit in jail... what do you think???

Screw death row! As soon as they are found guilty fry their a-s-s..This humane way of giving them a shot and letting these misserable f-u-c-k-s die easy is the wrong way of killing them. Put their lights out and let their souls burn in hell for all eternity.

Okay someone brought up the fact that some people on death row have been proven innocent with the use of DNA evidence. This is true so lets do DNA tests on every person on death row and make sure they are all guilty and then let the fire works begin How about no one on death row in 1 year. After we clear out the back log then every defendant is DNA tested immediately and if found guilty is executed within 30 days. To heck with appeals that go on for 15 or 20 years I am tired of paying these guys and gals to do nothing. What say you yahoo answerer's.

I know it's a drain on the taxpayers, but the fact is that many people on death row have later been found to be innocent. So if they were executed quickly, without time for in depth investigation, appeals and litigation, innocent people might be killed. Some people may not care, but every time you execute an innocent person, you allow the real perpetrator to go free so you have to be sure that the accused gets a fair trial and is proven guilty.

From an economic standpoint this would be more practical. Some prisons only give them enough food to stay alive like a bologna sandwich. But, from a supernatural aspect if you kill these guys you release their evil spirits to possess someone else.

I am totally in favor of the death penalty. We should return to the days of the cowboys, arrest, trial within a few days, and hanging from the tree the next day! Save a lot of taxpayer's money.

well i believe that they should have a 5 yr grace period cause you know there have been Innocent people on death row, so i think they should have a very short, waiting period. just in case there is a glitch in the system!

It is way too slow and lenient. Criminals should die the way they murdered their victim. If they knew they had to die the way they chose to kill their victim, it might make them think twice about murder.
The injection is a "piece of cake". I should be so lucky to die that way.

I think you aree right, usually the ones on death row have alreadykilled one or more persons, and we are told it's "inhumane" to put them peacefully and painlessly to sleep? Baloney, they weren't humane when they killed someone..

Actually, your most right. If they are awaiting to die, why don't they get it over with and kill. By them just remaining in jail they are just making us pay ****** taxes for bullshit we need to be paying for. I'm with you on this one.
