The media has become more conservative in the past 20 years. It is particularly evident in cable news, but also the networks. Nearly all conservatives are Republican. Republicans don't like black people. Kanye even said George Bush hates black people. He was right. That is why. Blame George.

there are many positive black role models in the media
Not in MAIN STREAM AMERICA media, mind you, but pick up a copy of Black Enterprise, even Essence, Ebony and Jet all have insighful articles and interviews of blacks that we can take a lesson from. When looking for a role model, you have to realize that you may want to be where that person is....but are you strong enought / willing to do what it takes to get there?
