I mean there has been so many shooting this scholar year so far, and it has practically just started. and well i know its not because of the Videogames and violent movies parents whine so much about, in Canada and Mexico ppl see the same things and this kind of things dosent hapen. just THIS year is the first time after 20-something years that had been a shooting at a school, a university in Canada. and there can be other things in Mexican schools specially in big cities... o wait there is also that in US bigg cities hmmmm.but nvr shoting in Mx's. I am Mexicanamerican I have a year here so far and.. well stuff like the Columbia (idk if i spelled that right) masacre creeps me out, i live in california, and so far i havent hurd or seen in the new about shootings IN california. but i also last year when I arived I do not recall any shootings, last year. Its this year that... if i am wrong correctme... 6 diferent shootings at schools so far this year in U.S. school.... u guys scare me...

Because shootings in schools are the most noted, most covered, most talked about crimes. So if a person wanted to make a big impact, they go to the schools. I think that the media almost gives too much publicity to the losers who commit these crimes. They become famous for a little while and have the attention of the country. I don't know what can be done to stop it. Maybe make a law that a person who commits this crime will not get ANY publicity.

There are so many kids today that are depressed and are looking for something and just can't find it. They think that everyone should die if they feel miserable. I believe if we take time out for our kids and for kids that need help and show them that there is a better way in life than killing drugs sex and everything else that is violent and show them love and not abuse or cussing at them or showing hatred because our kids become what they see. If we would not make fun of people our kids would not either. I truly agree that parents need to take responsibility for their kids action and show them a better way

There has always been school shootings, they are just bigger now and the media latches on to them now in ways they never used to.
I mean people could say why are so many children getting kidnapped these days, but children have been getting kidnapped for ages.

somebody whose song sequence continues to be on 8-song tapes. somebody who refuses to purchase an Ipod, and rather, choses to placed on those vast, cumbersome headphones with a geared up-in radio and rabbit ear antennas. somebody who insists on making use of a typewriter rather of a be conscious processor. nicely.. then there is the college of not common knocks. That place has been around for years.

I think it's because our children are so disrespectful and hateful these days. Is it the violence on TV? Who knows but we really need to get to the bottom of it.
