I have a Standard PCI graphics adapter(vga) version 4.0 (OS: windows 98 se) and I get only 2 and 16 colours and only 640x480. What is the problem? Do I need to upgrade the driver? If yes Where do I get the drivers?

You can go to your device manager and update the drivers on your video card and see what happens. You really should upgrade to windows xp or get a new comptuer... they arn't that expensive.

Most drivers can be downloaded from the Windows Update site. Simply go there (see link below) and select an Express Install. After the reboot, this should fix it.

Otherwise, find out the exact model of your video card and go on the manufacturer's web site to download the driver for Win98.

You should be able to get the drivers you need, from
www.driverguide.com. It's a free service and they have a very complete database. If they don't have what you need, they will direct you to the manufacturers website.
