I have to pay the taxes on it every year and, I am tired of it . I want to sell it but! I am needing to know how I can get ahold of Dan Knight who was the owner of AAA Discount Homes in Mauldin, SC. He is who I was buying it from. He is my Lienholder.

Check with the Bankruptcy court for that area (call a local lawyer and ask for the number). They should have a record of who took his assets in the settlement, or, if it isn't settled, which official is handling the assets while it is processed.

thru the DMV - they will contact the state to get it. Who is your leinholder? They will have it first. But if not like I said contact the DMV. You will need you bill of sale.



sorry i guess i shouldve read the little writing - in that case i would just file for a duplicate title. you will need a lienrelease which is just a peice of paper that says everything is paid for. you can get you knew title thru the DMV.

I am in the same situation with my mobile home with dan knight also, what was the final solution to this issue because I need to know how to resolve it myself.

call or go down to the Secretary of state and ask them. They are the ones in charge of titles. It is just like a car title.
