I'll join the majority here and say I like Bella but am iffy for Brian (whether with a Y or not) due to the commonality of it. I wanted Isabella for my daughter's name but my husband vetoed it. We ended up finally agreeing on something thank goodness after months of the name game, but we didnt ask ANYONE what they thought because we liked it and didnt want to hear negativity. The first time someone heard her name she was already born and it was too late to change. We didnt get one single complaint that way! Even if we all say we dont like Brian, and YOU like Brian, pick it!!

I guess I am the weirdo reading everyone else's answer. I like Brian but Bella is not cool. That sounds like a name a celebrity would give their child and I think that they use drugs when naming their kids. How about Brian and Brianna?

Bella is a beautiful name! I don't really like Brian...it's a little mature for a newborn and it's also overly used. How about Bella & Brett? Or Bella & Benjamin?

Personally, no, but you should go with what you like. I like Bella but not Brian.. because Brian is a very common name.
I will tell you what I DON'T like: "rhyming" twin names. That's just annoying.

I have twins and know 4 other people with twins - we have all named our twins very different names. I feel its nice to give them different names and let them keep some form of identity. So many people lump them together and expect them to be the same, act the same etc because they are twins .... I get so tired of all the questions like "how do u tell them apart? do they act the same? do they sound the same? etc" People will always try group them together and treat them the same.
Some one once said to me to give my twins different sounding names but keep in mind that u want the names to be more or less the same length - the reason being when they start to be able to spell their own names you want them to be able to get it right at the same time. Twins will naturally compete with each other. would be unfair to give one a easy name and one a really hard long name :)
But at the end of the day its your choice and you need to call them what will make you happy - once u see those faces you will know you have made the right decision.
Good luck
Oh yes .... my twins are Zane and Trent

I like Bella, but I don't like Brian. Brian is too common and unoriginal. If you are going to do another B name... for a boy I like names like Brynn, Blake, Braxton. But that's just me. If you like common names... go for it.

I would give them totally individual names (i.e. names that do not start with the same letter). I am a 23 year old twin, and believe me, your kids will be separate people who deserve their own individual identities.
