Loreal True Match. 24 colors and flawless coverage. Good stuff. Max Factor is good, but it tends to be a bit thick. Max Factor has been used for years for movies so the makeup had to stay on. The samples I had tried from Max Factor left my face a bit cakey looking. The best one they had was Ideal Balance, but of course, they discontinued it. :( If you want to go the way of Max Factor, try Cover Girl. They are the same company. Cover Girl has a bit more foundation selection. I tried the Advanced Radiance and it was nice.

I have been using bare escentuals for a long time now and I LOVE IT. I've gone through every foundation/powder in the book and I've never found something that works quite as good as this one. Since I've been using it I don't break out at all anymore and it doesnt look like I'm wearing a mask. Just give it a try, it works (=

Hi im always trying different types and up to now my favourites are, infaliable from loreal and the new cool matte mousse from Rimmel. They both last 16 hours and dont clog the pores and give spots. Maxfactor is ok but i find it brings my blemished out and makes my skin feel greasy.

It depends what youre looking for from the foundation really, like if it needs to control the oily patches on the T Zone, or cover scars, whatever. Personally, I used Mabelline mousse, Ive got very pale skin and find this stuff both looks natural and covers any problem areas! If you went to the make-up counter in Boots or John Lewis and explained what you wanted from your make-up, theyd be able to help you. Have fun experimenting!

Trouble is with foundation, everyone is different, so its really just a case of trial and error!
Having said that, i tend to go for tinted moisterisers, these still give coverage but dont look as 'caked up' as some foundations.
I use Benefit You Rebel which costs around £20.00. Quite expensive but dont need a lot, so lasts.
Hope this helps?!

DIOR, I had this as a make over on my wedding day ten years ago in which my skin looked flawless, Ive tried using other foundations as it is expensive but this really does work wonders, worth splashing out on if you only use a small amount as I do. Also a quick fix which is brilliant if your in a rush is Virgin Vie Compact

Max Factor Lasting Performace is my favourite, it costs £9.50 and it's the only one i have been able to find that stays on during a night out! I also like Maybelline Matte Mousse for during the day, its feels really light and it doesnt give me any spots or blackheads, plus its a bargain too for £7!

Definitely Mary Kay. Their products are fantastic.
Their foundations blend very well to your skin tone and you don't look like you have piled on the make-up. It just looks like you have perfect skin.
I have healthy skin, but the tone is very uneven and I have way too many freckles. I used MK foundation and it tones down the freckles and makes my skin look more even and not a bit splotchy.

Mary Kay- and they also stand by their product 100%. They have several different kinds. Some for normal to oily and normal to dry. They also have this "new" item which is a tinted moisturizer with an SPF- so it cuts back on how many products you need to by (it is 3-in-1)!
