4 some reason I recieve a Christian magazine at home. Ive read articles. They admit Chrstian men have affairs at the same frequency as non-Christians. However, the Christians (according to this book) blame a mans temptations on women. That women who dress provactively, even moderately,Im not talking halters and boy shorts, just simple sexy, cause men to stare cheat and sin. That us women are responsible for men not being able to keep their eyes in their sockets and penises in their pants. Has it occured to anyone that looking is normal and if even "christians" cant fight it,than its not so bad? This is not say say its okay to gawk when your commited, but, notice and turn away out of respect to your partner. Cheating is wrong, whatever religionwhatevr flashy girl is in your view, what you do is up to you and your willpower, but its different for a Christian because they justify it by pretty girls looking pretty,so they say they were "forced to sin"(actual quote). Any comments???

It's because they don't want to accept the responsibility for their dirty thoughts/behavior.
Even Christian men have pride... it's easier on their ego, to blame somebody else.
A woman could be toothless, dress up in a loose-fitting, floor-length burlap sack, & men could still have dirty thoughts about her, if he allows his mind to be guided by satan (directly or indirectly).
Regardless of who started it>>> Eve chose to eat the forbidden fruit... & Adam CHOSE to eat it (chose to do wrong... allowed wrong thinking, behaved wrong).
Adam blamed Eve, & Eve blamed the devil... but what it all boiled down to was>>> choice.

I believe that is BULL!!!! A woman cannot force or make a man cheat (christian or not). Its simple a women asks the man and the man rejects because he loves his wife. Its not always the women fault. That would be a male chauvinist pig who says that. Not all men are that way but some are. Christians who say this crap are just blinded and more off track then they could ever be. If a man cheats its because he is a loser, no matter what religion. And even if its a women who cheats, the man cannot force her. There is always the NO answer! No I am with my wife or girlfriend! No I am with my husband or boyfriend! That was simple now wasn't it!

Im not sure what kind of Christian mag's you have but I am a Christian & have been for a few years & my preacher says that men cheating is a 2 way street , the man is just as much to blame as the woman... & in y opinion I agree I dont think its a ladies fault alone if a married man comes on to her but I also think some ladies have a way of coming on that most men would have to be very very strong to resist ... & nobody forces us to sin its just common nature that mankind sins & I dont think its fair for mag's or people to lay the blame on any one sex , race or any other differance... if a man & woman have an affair I think both parties should share the guilt

OMG what a load of crap. Throw that magazine away. These men need to start taking responsibility for their own actions. I agree that woman who dress sexy want that type of attention. That does not mean that men in a committed relationship need to give it to them. It is a lame excuse from some lame guys who are not really repenting for their sins but are blaming it on woman.

You have an interesting perspective. I wonder where all those men are finding the women to fill their needs?
Being human is being a sexual creature; whatever form that takes. Since all Christians are human, they are subject to falling short.
Anyway, I just keep wondering why you are so focused on the men.

Like you said, its an excuse. Men cheat because we want to and then blame it on everything else when they are caught. If man cheats and is neve rcaught, you'll never hear a reason.

that is a lie nobody is force to sin, in any situation even if a half naked girl comes up to a guy that doesnt mean he is force to cheat if he respects his partner and has self control he wont cheat! but a cheater will find any excuse to cheat.

Wow that article is a bunch of Crap! A man's willingness to stray from his wife is not due to a sexy dress! A straying spouse's mind... and then actions is what gets them into trouble.

I'd like to know what "Christian" magazines you're receiving.

That's ridiculous. Each person is responsible for his or her own actions. I don't care if a woman or man is walking naked down the street, no one has a right to blame that person for their own behavior. "she dresses so sexy, I couldn't help but having sex with her" - please - are we adults here?
