I am taking a road trip from Philly to Montreal in November with some old college friends. We are all in our mid to late 20's so we are more concerned with nightlife and being near the bars, etc. Does anyone know a good affordable hotel in downtown Montreal. We are looking to pack the 4 of us in one room and don't care about how nice it is, just affordable and LOCATION is important. Also, since we are driving.....off street parking or a hotel with a parking garage would be great! Any help would be appreciated.......Thanks.

You might look into staying at the hostel.... it's pretty cheap and they do have private rooms. They also have activities all the time. They don't allow alcohol in the common areas, but you are in walking distance to tons of clubs and bars so it doens't really matter.

I am from Montreal and you might wanna consider Quality Inn Downtown, Novotel Montreal Centre or Best Western Europa Downtown. All these hotels are really well located and affordable. And I also suggest you go take a look on Expedia.com. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
