If you are/were married, how did he (or she!) propose?
If you've never been married, what do you think would be the best way to propose, or have someone propose to you?

He proposed 3 months after we started dating at a large Christmas charity event in front of a large group of people. I knew he was going to propose but I didn't know when or where and I was very surprised. We've been married 1 year now!

My husband (then boyfriend) took me up to the courthouse, telling me that he needed to get some papers. The next thing I know we were in the register of deeds getting a marriage license...kinda romantic lol

I think the best way would be when I least expect it. Like a Big Surprise.... Oh of course and around people too, so they could be green with envy...

First make sure you are ready for this....and so is he/she. For summer or springtime....a romantic picnic near a waterfall. For winter or fall.....near a cozy fireplace with a good wine.

Walk in with the minister, rings and a wedding dress and ask her: "So what do you want to do tonight?"

never been married.......i think its best if someone going to propse to you if your not expecting it......but in romantic way and ypur ready
