Hi my name is Nikki, and I am 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant. This is my first baby, due March3rd. I first felt the baby move about a week and a half ago. Well these last pass three days, i have really felt the baby move a lot. I will feel it about 3 to 4 times a day, and when I feel it, it is anywhere from 2 to 10 times in that period. I really think it is my baby, because I have not ever felt anything like it. Is there anyone else out there that is not that far, and can feel there baby good.

With my first pregnancy I could not feel the baby move till I was about 20 weeks. The baby is so small now that you will feel maybe a little here and there. Not to worry, in a few weeks you will feel those kicks all the time.

I have a 9 month old now. She is extremely active and I think she has been since conception!!! I could lay down at night and my stomach moved all over the place. My husband and I joked that she was trying to jump out without delivering. I started feeling her at around 3 months. No one else could feel her because the baby is too small at that point, but since she's inside your body you can feel the twinges, hiccups, and kicks. You're lucky, I barely felt my first daughter. It felt like I was being shorted because it was one of the things I looked forward to. Just be prepared, mine is even more active now! Best of luck to you.

People normally start to feel quickening (fetal movement) around about 20 weeks, so these movements you are feeling are probably the baby as every person is different!
Congratulations x

Hey Nikki...Congrats on your pregnancy and yes it definitely sounds like your lil baby moving!! Some women can feel it as early as 14 weeks so you are right where you should be to feel him/her! It is so exciting isn't it?

Nope, you are not crazy. That is about when I started feeling mine. Went from once or twice a day to pretty much non-stop. Just wait until you get a kick, then a little foot in your ribs. THAT is "fun". Good luck!
