I can just imagine how you feel.
Make sure that you keep in touch with your old friends but you have to try to find opportunities to make new ones.
How?
Smile at someone that you would like to meet ask for the lowdown on particular teachers that you have for class. Kids love to give the scoop on the teachers in the building. That's how you make friends!
Good luck, Don't worry, you'll fit in soon...

You didn't say just how far away from your old friends/school you had moved- If its not that far I'm sure that you could still see all your old friends and maybe introduce your new ones to them once you are settled.
If you have moved right away, it wont be long before you have loads of new friends again.
Its always tough starting a fresh but I'm sure that as long as you are friendly and approachable you will soon be swarming in new friends.
We all move on in our lives, schools, jobs, areas, some of us even countries- and when you are young it seems so much tougher, but its all in good stead for the future.
It's still hard when your older, but each experience you have of moving on will make it easier to deal with when the time comes again IE: college, work, leaving home, and will give you more confidence in meeting new people. I totally understand how you are feeling right now as my family moved around loads when I was a youngster due to work.
Just be yourself, enjoy your new surroundings and soon enough you will be making new friends, I hope it all goes well for you :o)

Chin up, things will get better. I know it's hard but try chatting to some of the other kids at your new school, ask them about the teachers, how much homework they get, what lessons are worse e.t.c
You could also check out whether there are any after school clubs / lunch-time clubs as it'll save u sitting around on your own and you'll get to meet new friends there too.
Keep in touch with your old friends by emailing or meeting up at the weekend.
Keep smiling, it'll all work out in the end.

You should just try to open up and make new friends. In life there will always things changing around you and you will be the only one than can make it work out or fail. So talk to your old friends, chat with them online, and e-mail them. But also make new friends.
Good Luck!

Moving into a new society takes getting use to, especially for people under 18. Write to your friends and ask them to write back.

Get involved, make an effort to make new friends. You've moved, it doesn't help to feel sorry for yourself, as it's a done deal. You've got to do your best to work with today. It's up to you to make new friends are your new school.

try to make some new friends so you can fit in but stay in touch with your old friends because they know you and can help you get through the first weeks of being "new".. Good luck and have fun making new friends.

It's always hard being in a new environment. Try to be confident in yourself and force a smile on your face--you will feel better about things once you positively change your outlook on your situation.

use the 10ft smile, smiling makes you look open and ready to interact. no one will want to make friends with you if you're walking around with a face on!
i moved school two times when i was younger and never struggled, if you can't do it now, you never will.
chin up kiddo!
