Anything that doesn't contain lettering can be reversible. Sounds like you're going to make a print. You can make a design and then look at it in a mirror to see how it will look. You can also use tracing paper to copy the design, then hold it up to a window and look at it from the back to see the design. You can even use something with lettering if you start with it backwards. That would make it a modestly secret message.
If you're stuck for an image, take a piece of cardboard and cut a square hole in it, then hold it up in front of you to isolate various views of the world around you. This is especially fun for small parts of things that look abstract when taken out of context.

When I did this in school I drew a picture of myself looking in a mirror with a mirror behind me. It turned out cool and got hung in the display case!
