I do believe that this is very difficult thing to do and is still a challenge to the modern medicine researchers.
Mean while try this out;
To get rid of the stretch marks try this method. Use 1/2 teaspoon of aloes, 1/2 tps papaya pulp.1- tsp rose water, 1 -tsp of sandalwood paste, 10 drops almond oil and two drops of lavender oil. add 2-tsp milk cream to these and make a smooth paste, apply over the effected skin and massage gently before a bath. Do, this atleast thrice a week.Coz it really worked for one of my colleague
The stretch marks are usually farmed when the skin is stretched over a long period of time, these are nothing but strains of elastic fibre in deep layers of the skin. when one looses or gains weight rapidly then there skin will loose the elasticity resulting in these marks. they will normally fade by themselves, after some time. if you want to fade them quickly tan that particular area so that those light scars may mix with the normal skin.
Prevention is the best way to avoid problems when you think your skin is loosing elasticity apply oils or moisturizer to those areas so that it remains supple. And dint take rapid weight loosing programmes they not only create problems like stretchmarks but also skin sagging, and then wrinkles . So adopt a right way or loosing weight slowly.

To get rid of or diminish your stretchmarks yes use cocoa butter but not just any. Get Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula. U can purchase from any store but go to Wal-Mart or Target. A big store has more of a variety. Why? Because they make a formula for if u were or r pregnant , they also have a new couple of products that came out. I would suggest though Palmer's Cocoa Butter with Alpha Beta Hydroxy with Shea Butter (its in a Silver-blue bottle). U will find it with the lotions. This will fade the marks and any discoloration marks on your skin anywhere.

Try using Mederma. It is a product found over the counter to remove scars and such. It takes a while but it will fade stretchmarks. It won't completely make it go away though.
