actually, many different religions now celebrate Christmas because in some parts of the world it has become a secular holiday. many others celebrate a holiday around the same time such as Hanukkah for Jews and the ancients celebrated Saturnalia, which was a pagan festival during the last week of December that many scholars believe Christmas replaced to appease the converts. Even the traditions in many Christian countries r different and yet similar.
