I realize it is hard to compare them being that one coaches an NFL team and the other is in the college rankings; but neither of these coaches have any control, their players don't listen, and their seasons are quickly washing down the toilet

John L. Smith is by far worse...I mean the Spartans are a good team (as a Michigan fan I'm always afraid that they might show up and not choke.).They have one of the best offenses in all of college football. The problem is that they don't show up or they choke. That's because the coach doesn't prepare the team. Now I don't know exactly what he is doing wrong but it's obviously his fault. I mean seriously what de he tell his kids during haftime against notre Dame..."okay guys, great job now let's find a way to lose."
How do you blow a 17 point lead is beyond me.

Art Shell doesn't really have that good of a team to work with.

No, i don't think of they must fireplace Smith. they must fireplace the assistant coaches. in case you seem on the U of M final three hundred and sixty 5 days they did not do ok. They fired their assistant coaches and delivered back 5 assistant coaches from their hay day. Michigan is now the 2d maximum suitable team in the rustic (whether they're in basic terms ranked #7). The Spartans regarded great against Notre Dame, the gamers purely misplaced concentration through fact they concept they already gained (same element took place final three hundred and sixty 5 days with OSU and Texas).

The team is playing better with Walter at QB. It's still early and Shell needs a chance to prove himself.

We would be talking about Romeo Crennel if that interception Frye threw had resulted in points for the Raiders.

I would say Art Shell or old school as he is sometimes referred to. The lack of success for the Raiders is due to his philosphy of using an outdated offensive system. I am glad however that they finally scored a touchdown.

Being a Notre Dame fan I would have to say Smith especially after he slapped himself after the press conference on saturday. He seems like a retard

Blowing an 18 pt lead at home is pretty unacceptable in my book.

So my vote goes to Art Shell.

My vote is also for Art Shell.
Shame that Oakland had to rehire this guy when he couldn't get it done the first time as well.
