Traditional method of getting hrough this is to get a pot of your favourite ice cream and eat it through a week. But that's not very healthy and I only recommend it as a last resort :).

Think of it this way; you two broke up with each other because you knew i was for the best. If you two had anything that would last you wouldn't keep breaking up. You know that you and your partner will be happier the way you are now so why not let it be?

If you want your partner to be happy then be strong for your partner and try to be happy for your partner.

If things comes to worse, take the occassional smoothie (not too much sugar); slow, deep breaths; lie down and close your eyes for a bit; and/or think about where you want to head to from where you are.

In a couple of weeks or so, you will be fine.

Chin up. Good luck.

Been there-done that several times over the years. All I can say is live with it. The old adage that "time heals all" is true.

DO NOT make the mistake of finding a replacement to "help you forget". On the rebound that's asking to be played, which will add to the hurt!

Friends are good for support. Do things with them and try not to be the anchor. Stay with the group. Don't let yourself be separated by a sweet talker.

When you're ready to try it again, you'll know.

well first off. You have to let yourself relax dont jump into another relationship this will only end up in you comparing the new person with the old one. No one deserves that . Be single for a while. Start a diary or a journal, in case you dont want any one to know your feelings, this way you wont be judged if you say "I still Love him/her." And it will help you to get thoughts and feelings off your chest. Breaking up isnt easy even if the person treated you like S$@T you still are hurt by it. So dont feel bad if you miss them or want to be with them again. Its normal to feel like that. But dont be an *** if the person pushes you away dont gravel at their feet you will only hurt you and everybody will have a laugh at your expense... If the relationship is ment to be then you and him/her will be back together.

Stay away from him or you will be tempted to get back together again. Just keep going over the reasons for the break-up and how much better things will be in the long run. Just give yourself time to figure things out. Good Luck.

sort your head out and get rid of any emotional baggage you can. then sit down and look at where you would like to be in five years time. Make a wish list of things you want to do and go about doing them one at a time. They don't have to be mega dreams just start with small achievable stuff and carry on with at least one every six months.

The famous rebound!!! Is always the best way to handle a breakup. Find someone else to spend some time with and when you are over your ex, dump the rebound!

Catch up with friends, get out and have some fun, it's a new start, buy some new outfits, treat yourself. Talk with family.

Time is the key - and good friends. The only real way to get over it though is to not hate them, even if they were wrong!
