I'm not Mexican but it's very ignorant for people to think that they are the only ones in this country illegally. Its obvious to think that - Mexico is so close to the US. However, how many people come out here from other countries illegally trying to marry someone for papers. How about that. There are a lot of illegal immigrants here and guess what's its not only Mexicans. Have some respect people.

Williamzo - The information says 60%. HOWEVER, they are not the only illegal race here. Don't get me wrong - I don't agree with coming here illegally, however people should not just point the finger on Mexicans only. ITS EVERY RACE. And if 60% is mexicans. There's 40% left - Not only mexicans then huh?

Well you answered your own question...There are a lot of ignorant and racist people out there. Everyone in California assumes that if you are latino you are mexican, if you live in New York you are puerto rican and if you live in florida you are Cuban. Everyone tends to forget all the freakin' Canadians that are here illegally.

I'm NOT one of those people. But for those who DO think that, it's probably because Mexicans are the ones with closer access to U.S. borders. They are the ones who have been the most vocal.
The truth is that we have illegals from just about every country in the world here.....did you know, for example, that Chicago has a bigger population of Poles than Warsaw has? Poland, at one time, had instituted a "no travel visa given" policy when it comes to Poles leaving Poland because none of them ever went back.
Just for the record--I'm NOT against immigration (our country was founded on it), but I am against ILLEGAL immigration.

I don't think that Mexicans are the only illegals in our country. There are plenty from Central/South America, Europe, and Asian countries. However, it is the Hispanic culture that brings attention to themselves and make demands that WE conform to THEM. If they want to be Americans, they need to act like Americans and not demand that we make concessions to make it even more easy for them to be here illegally.
Get a clue and stop assuming you know what people think. Assuming is ignorant.

lol.. Not everyone thinks that.. Right now r main problem is the mexico border. Over 90% of our illegal immigrants r from mexico. I have no respect for border jumping wet-backs.

I don't think that everyone thinks that way. However, 95% or more of the illegals in our country are hispanic...not necessarily Mexican.

Because you are probably American, and do not see anything that happens outside your coastline, or often outside your county.
There are 191 other countries out there apart from America All of them are capable of producing illegal immigrants in US, but only Mexico can be bothered.
