Well all depends on where you are going. One should be very careful wearing white if there is a chance of getting a bad stain. However white is a cool color, but boring. Black is way to overdone as well. so no black. Go for other colors, red for excitement, some blues or greens. Find something new and different and set your own style.

That depends on my mood and where my date and I will be going.
If to a rock concert, than probably a t-shirt
If to the Orchestra or Opera, than it would be more expencive blouse or more likely a dress.
If to a club, probably a button down, ladies blouse.
If out to diner and a movie, I'd probably go for a button down blouse again.
If to an art/craft show, a t-shirt.
If to a gallery, a dress or dress blouse
