You do not have a lot of options left. Here is a list of the usual online source links:

Since you are a Yahoo user, why not try:

http://realestate.yahoo.com/

Another popular site is:

http://www.apartments.com/

You can also try Craigslist at:

http://www.craigslist.org/about/cities.html

Another option is to try this site run by e-bay:

http://www.rent.com/

I've gotta tell you that it can be extremely hard to find a house to rent online in many parts of the USA. The best source will almost always be your local newspaper classifieds or a local Realtor.

Good luck with your search for a house to rent.

Realtors don't charge renters anything, at least where I work (Realtor). Why would you not want to use the Realtor? You can use a Realtor in addition to doing your own search when looking for rentals. Some apartments don't offer a commission.

A lot of service oriented Realtors would help you for free in hopes to earn your trust. I'm a Realtor and oftentimes I help my clients with rental property and don't expect anything. Of course, I do this as a courtesy and if I like working with my client.

Here are more reasons why you would want a professional representation http://burlingamerealtor.com/serendipity/index.php?/archives/2006/02/18.html (my blog)

Also, don't you think Realtors are in the real estate business? Perhaps they can point you in the right direction? Work with someone in your local market who has time to show you rentals and would like to work with their clients long term.

If your trying to find a rental - go to RENT.COM - you can pick the area and see what's available. ALSO, if you know what area - look up the local paper on-line, and see the classifieds. Good luck! (If your looking to buy - go to Realtor.com)
